How about a photo folder we can post to about projects underway, or to tell story on how we did a job?

A projects or restoration section would be great, that would make it easier to follow. I've got a couple of projects I could put there.

Absolutely - great idea. Project that are specific to your coach (like a running project log) is exactly what the Blogs  section (short for Web Logs) is designed for.

I've already started one and so has Cooperhawk. I'm trying to figure out how to allow members to start a blog on their own...but for now PM me if you want a blog and I'll set one up for you.

The cool thing is that it's all about your project, but other members can post comments if they want.  It also keeps it out of the general forum...and you control the entires.

When you go to the first page of the blogs section you see see all of the most recent blog entries from all members.

You can see my initial blog here.

Yes...blogs are personal online logs that are specific to your project.  Photo Galleries are pretty much just posted pictures from members...but they are not tied to specific members.

I've been able to setup the blog module so any member can create their own blog.  This is a great place to keep a journal of your classic, repairs, renovations, improvement, thoughts, etc.

To setup your own blog, just go to the Blogs page and click on the Create My Blog link.

It's a new feature. I've been upgrading some of the modules on the site. Let me know if you like it.

Just a note on this becaust it's not terribly obvious....if you click on the right side of an image it advances the gallery to teh next pic. If you click on the left...it functions as the previous button.

I'm hoping to make buttons for this at some point.

the blogs are pretty cool.... especially the pics...
Question... when I write up a blog, can I link to it?
There's another forum where I'd like the folks there to be able to see my "renovations"...
    Actually, the Escapees forum.....
    Thanks

Absolutely you can link to it. When you create your profile you have an option to show a link to your profile. Use this to link from other places and it will take people directly to your profile page.

I put my profile link on my signature at AirstreamForums.com....It's surprising how many people click on it.

It would be great to see some photos of your HR.

(BTW - I'm adding a Holiday Rambler section for you)
