Wanted to know what caused a scored cylinder and cracked head in a cummins 6c Diesel.
Should I buy a motorhome that had this repaired?

Cracked heads are usually caused by over heating the engine, then a crack in the head sometimes will channel anti-freeze into the cylander which, as an abrasive will score the sleeve. If the head is replaced and the sleeve replaced as well, the engine should be okay.
