Gents.
As a future Airstream Classic owner, I'd love to see a spreadsheet that shows the year-by-year differences. This would be great for people that are looking for one and for reference.
Or does this already exist?
heck, if there's enough interest, I'd do it.
I would need owners of existing units to post info on thier specific models.
what do you think?

for those who haven't heard the term Wiki before....here is a definition.
A wiki (IPA: [ˈwɪ.kiː] or [ˈwiː.kiː]Ώ]) is a website that allows visitors to add, remove, edit and change content, typically without the need for registration. It also allows for linking among any number of pages. This ease of interaction and operation makes a wiki an effective tool for mass collaborative authoring. The term wiki can also refer to the collaborative software itself (wiki engine) that facilitates the operation of such a site, or to specific wiki sites, including the computer science site WikiWikiWeb (the original wiki) and online encyclopedias such as Wikipedia. |

Everyone,
I've implemented a WiKi for our site. You can view it by clicking here. The concept of a WiKi is for the community at large to post information, edit other's information and keep a running dictionary or encyclopedia of information about classic motorhomes on the site.
I started with Airstream Motorhomes and added links for all of the years they were produced. I would like to also provide a matrix by model and add more manufacturers as our site grows. Ideally we could build quite the information store about all brands and models and years of the motorhomes represented on the site.
Feel free to experiment with this. I'lll post some instructions on the WiKi page to help guide everyone along the way. All members can post into the WiKi. |
