The rear furnace in my 1985 345 is an Atwood Everest Star model 7900 II/ 8000 II. The furnace is in fine shape, but the circuit board is corroded and shot.

I ordered a new board from Dinosaur Boards, however this furnace is equiped with what Atwood describes as a "single sense ignition system which allows the ignition board to spark and sense flame through the same wire and electrode."

The new board wants a separate wire from a flame sensor and of course, ignites the furnace for 20 seconds and then shuts off the gas.

Has anyone delt with this problem. I could run a splice from the dual purpose wire to the flame sensor tab, but I am worried that the spark surge could be too much amperage for the flame sensor portion.

And, oh yeah, I have run several searches on the forum with no joy,
