Thanks for the catch there. I should have given him that link to start with.

| Hey Steve. I think I only sent you the Onan Owners Manual. I also have the Installation Manual, and the Parts Manual. Want them too?? |

| More files for the manual section
Air Lift Air Bags (3MB)
Cord Reel (1.5MB)
Vin System (1MB)
I have several Kohler generator manuals (the installation, parts and service manuals) but on their website Kohler offers them for a paid download, however I didn't see the ones for my generator. I'm somewhat hesitant about posting them here if they do charge for them. They will be scanned for backup purposes though. Just let me know and I'll show you where they'll be ;) |

Guys, Work has been a little busy but I plan to convert all of the manauls sent to far. I would like to keep them "member only" so I'll remove these links once I have them setup in the manuals section. Coop - I would use everything you have. My plan is to make the first few pages of each manual "browseable". Kind of like Amazon's "Peek Inside" ising the flip book I have setup now on the one manual loaded. Then, if you are a member and are logged in you will be able to download the entire document. I think this will provide the best of both worlds, making it easy to find a manual, check it out and then download it once you're sure it's the right one. Hoping to get a lot of this done over the weekend. |

OK, what do you all think about this model from a "usability" standpoint. Does everything make sense? http://www.thisoldrv.com/Manuals/KiweeSteps.aspx |

Problem is that I can't enlarge it enough to read it. It seems fuzzy. Will it be downloadable.
Tell you what I do on my web sites. I post it as a link to a "PDF" file and they can open it with that. |

OK..kidding aside. The plan (my plan) is to show a little "preview" with the page flip...then if it's what you want you can download the actual files. Sometimes they are images and other times they are a PDF...so I used a generaic "zip download" image.
The download capability is only available to members so if you're not a member (yet) you can still "preview" the manual but the download link is greyd out and lets you know you need to login.

I downloaded the Kiwee steps zip and the jpgs were good enough for the web. I scanned mine at 200 dpi which do make the files rather large, that's what broad band's for right? Go ahead and post your manuals UK Streamer. Without the backup of this site and air forums I would be totally lost and probably wouldn't own an airstream :) |
