I'm curious, so those of you down south probly never thought a question like this would come up....

Will the furnace stay running while driving down the interstate

Yes...battery will supply power for fan.

Do you have a hot water engine supplied heater?
Ours has one under seat for dinner table.
That one keeps us warm going down the road.

Oh the heater of the engine works fine, It's just kinda cold up here. 8 degrees this am. And we want to go camping! Actually we are going camping the first weekend in March. I was curious if the flame would blow out. Seems it would not, but..

The furnace will run on the road however, I have a heating strip in my rear AC and I run the gen set on the road.  Then I use the rear electic heater and with the engine heater running under the couch and the regular heater, it stays toasty warm.

Why did you take it out?  We use ours all the time.

Yes, I want to know too.

Need to rebuild the area it was installed in. Was not uses very much, needed to have it overhauled. Not sure I want it back in there, Uses a ton of fuel. Spose I shoud get it back in there eh?

You might be better off replacing it with something newer and more efficient (Honda). More power, less noise, less fuel, etc.

I have a line on a used Onan 6.5 if anyone is interested.  Same one that same in the 345's.

I have a Honda EU2000. It is too small to run the AC. But up here in the Fridgid North there is little call for AC.
