We have a 34' 1993 Airstream Legacy MH. Rather than shoulder harness/seat belts, it has just the old fashion seat belts that bolt to the floor and fit around your waist. We just saw a special that Camping World is running on captains seats and are thinking about replacing the original MH seats. In discussing this my wife is requesting that we install shoulder harness seat belts. Here is my question: Where would you attach the upper portion to the frame? I'm concerned that there is not sufficient strength to hold a 200lb body traveling at 60 + mph in an accident. Has anybody addressed this?

geodrake, You're concern is a good one. If the Legacy has a steel 'box" that you can mount the top harness through then something from JC Whitney would do the trick. I recently replaced my chairs with new Flexsteels (they bolt up 20 years later by the way) but was looking at a set of take outs from a new luxury coach which had integrated 3 points belts in the seat itself. Installing those would have required replacing my power pedastals which was not really what I wanted to do.
