We are preparing to snowbird for our first time.  We recently purchased a 1993 airstream Legacy motorhome and have been getting it ready.  In doing so I purchased three new deep cycle batteries.  We live in Kansas City and are headed to Texas.  I anticipate at least one night of relatively cold weather.

My question is; Is it reasonable to expect that my batteries will last the night using lights in the evening along with a little TV plus running my furnace all night?

If you have two batteries in good condition, you should be fine

With a good set of batteries you should have no problems running your furnace and some other 12v stuff overnight. Batteries are often a very neglected item on RV's. Make sure to keep your water level up and keep them in good condition and they will serve you well.

Well; we have been on the road for four nights. The first night was in a WalMart parking lot and the batteries kept the furnace running all night, with apparent reserve.
