conniek, This is a site for owners of all types and brands of RVs. We're still growing and while many of the original members came over from an Airstream trailer site (so there are a lot of AS owners on here already) we always make more room on the site for new members coaches. Usually one or two people come over with a specific model. Then more and more find us and their parts of the site grow. Additionally, most coaches seem to share a lot in common (chassis, engines, AC units, generators, etc.) so often an owner of one coach can help the owner of a completely different model without knowing much about a specific brand or floorplan. Lastly. we have a lot of experienced tecnical talent on here, from back yard mechanics to RV techs who are always willing to lend some advice. I would suggest you post any specific questions about your coach. I'm assuming your Silver Eagle is based on a Bus Conversion? Let me know some details and I'll setup a section on the site for your posts and gallery section. Welcome to the site! |

Wow Steve, do you get up that early every morning??? I'm just getting into good REM time about then. It's really nice to be retired!!!
So tell us more about your Silver Eagle coach. What engine and what transmission. We probably have a lot in common already, so come on in and bring all your friends. We want motorhomes of all kinds. |

well cooperhawk, you can see pictures of what our motorhome looks like at: www.85rv.com inventory 1992 diesel pusher silver eagle. For some reason i don't know, i'm unable to do pictures that i have of our motorhome Dang, i seem to have hit dead end on attempting to find out who made it, where, when. I have found, that possibly Tidwell might have manufactured it and they are no longer in business. We are wondering if we had the only one in existance and last night i found one on rvtraderonline.com We also are wondering"what have we done buying this motorhome???." It is in spotless condition(that was impressive)low mileage for Diesel, only 107,000 miles. everything works excellent in it. Outside looks good, a little oxidation. The sellers gave us a book with every thing that had ever been done to it. Comparing ours to the pictures on internet, ours appears to have all the original equipment, the carpet in ours is the rose colored and missing bedroom curtains. No leaks, seats not worn, outside compartments no leaks, carpet in excellent condition. Anyway, I've just been trying to find some other folks who might own some of these motorhomes. I would like to replace the bedroom curtains with what originals came in it. I do have the original bedspread. anyway, after getting on here, i thought maybe wrong place. but we'll see. thanks for the welcome. conniek

Here is a link directly to the similar coach: http://ebay.carad.com/viewItem/viewAllPhotos.cfm?listing=9055283 Looks like a nice one! I was wrong, it's not a bus conversion at all. Taking the plung is always a big step. What should you do with it? Enjoy it! |
