Hi All,

Well the weather is looking better between Northern Calif and Oregon, so I think this is going to be the weekend to move the MH from Eugene to its new home in Nor Cal. I'm a little worried about the old rig making it, but should be ok. It ran great a couple months back on my trip to the coast and back.

I was wondering what grade of gasoline that you folks use in your rigs? (mine is Airstream 280 with 454 Chevy and will not be towing anything).

You could start with the mid range fuel and work it up or down
as needed.

Mine is fairly pumped up so 91 octane is required in the hot summers
but the cold season here (Palm Springs) 89 can be used......

I did find in the manual that it states to use 89 octane.

I use mid grade in my 454
1977 Argosy 20
454 V8 Gas
