Hi! I am in the process of replacing the tuner in my 86 345. Currently it has 2 dash speakers, 2 living room speakers and 2 speakers in the bedroom. I would like to put the two bedroom speakers on a switch so the grandkids can watch tv while the front of the coach can use the radio. I have opened the wiring harness and it seems that all speakers on one side use a common wire. Short of putting each rear speaker on a seperate toggle switch do I have any other options?

no, unfortunately. the stereo systems are designed for left and right, front and rear. you will need to "slide" your existing unit out and see if they are identified by wire color/usage.

if not, simply hace someone sit at the rear speakers and see if they "come and go" as you adjust left/righ and the "fade" (front/rear) on your existing unit.

Hi, Mine were like that and the radio I replaced had a common and one hot for each channel. I had to run new wire so I could have the stereo work right. If it is a Pioneer you need a hot and ground for each speaker. Common grounded units have to be rewired. A real PITA!!!!
