I'm working on an engine swap and think I'm almost there just got a question about the transmission. Will changing the transmission help the rpms at highway speed? I know a lot of people like the Gear Vendors, thats just basically adding another gear to the transmission right. My thinking is that while I'm swapping out engines I might as well swap transmissions if that will help, considering the cost of the Gear Vendors. Any input would be much appreciated.

Man, I'd think if you wanted to go the extra mile you could not go wrong. I wonder if the original tranny would hold up? Good question...
