Good afternoon everyone

Thanks for the warm welcome to the membership
Steven this site looks great.

My first post is to get opions and advice on the mounting of ramco's new 1750 mirrors
they mount on the coach the same as the 9000 model using the same arm the difference is the head is 17.5 " tall and about 5/8 - 3/4" wider

I have tried to attach some pictures of the mirrors on the side of the coach
the mirrors are only using 1 of the original mounting holes so we could get an idea of the look and veiw from the outside and the drivers seat

The mirror heads are quite adjustable and will definetly help our vision while driving
I am concerned whether there would be too much wind resistance from the taller head
Sean with Ramco thinks we would not see a difference over the 1350 model (13.5" tall)

Cooperhawk hope to day is as nice at your home as here in Ontario
when you mounted your mirrors did you use any of the orignal mounting holes or did you just centre the template over the area occupied by the original mirrors

Our Coach is 1985 325 and should have a backing plate similar to yours

again thanks to Steven for starting this site for Classic Motorhomes

Good Day Ray and Evelyn, and Welcome
Those look pretty sharp! Sorry I can not help you there. Interested in how you make out tho! My 77 mirrors are near useless! On the list of upgrades. Are those powered or manual?

Thanks Balgrn

Mirrors are manual adjust the attatched photo shows the mirror layout

I opted for manual because I did not want to tempt fate with my wiring skills

thanks
Ray

Definately a quality upgrade for your Classic.

Had to do new holes.  The base plate covered them though.  That backing plate is a bear to drill fthrough!!!

I did the DIY spread on Ramco mirrors.  Check that.

Gotta go now.  Going into the city to have dinner with daughter and her husband.
