Here is my camera mount and another members solution as well.  Both seem to work well.

I was thinking about purchasing one of those wireless systems you can get at Wal mart etc. They are only like 99 bucks and it is wireless so you don't have to run wires. I haven't done alot of research on this but what do you guys think about that idea?
You all have very nice set ups by the way. They look great!

I'm in the middle of replacing my old back up camera as well. The new one mounts outside rather then inside. Solved the problem of running the new wire through the back cap with a good siff piece of wire, drilled a 1 inch acces whole in the molded side of the rear window so I could feed the wire bewteen the two pieces of cap and fed it along that joint and up into the old heating/cooling raceway which I use for all the wiring now. Placed the new monitor on top of the dash which leaves more room for the new gauges and switch's I wan't to place there.

The new unit is infrared illuminated for night use, and if memory serves (that's an on/off thing) has a microphone built in. Bought this unit on ebay for about $110 dollars, it is black and white, but I am used to that and didn't feel I needed the color system. That is just a personal preference. Trying to finish it up today, maybe after I fix the garage door (another project of major importance) I will be able to get back to it. Will post some pics when it is done.

Happy Trails
