First of all I give God the praise and Glory for not a scratch on the wild ride!

I have said that I would not attempt a D/A install in the Airstream, until last Tuesday (6-5-07). I had the gooseneck with tractor on back, going up a just rained on hill, and lost traction at about 50 to 60 mph. I tried to regain control, but the tractor and trailer took over. I bounced of the concrete center barrier, and crossed three lanes to ride the guard rail for about 150 ft. The truck was on one side, the trailer and tractor on the road side.

There is not a straight panel on the truck except for the roof! Only broke out the rear window.

Insurance adjuster has totaled the truck and trailer. The Kubota came out with only a scuffed up bucket and a bent inner rear rim. The trailer finders kept it on the trailer.

Will find out Monday on the deal the insurance company wants to offer. I hope to buy it back. The power train, is not hurt and runs fine.

Here is some photos, but take a look here on my webshots for more: http://rides.webshots.com/album/559358846UoiNLP?vhost=rides&start=48

Chris,
Wow! First of all, I'm glad to read that you are alright and I'm really glad the only thing that is coming out of this is a totalled truck and not a totalled person. That is a scary scenario and it sounds like you came through your "ride" not only in good shape, but with a project to boot.
