does anyone know if there are any bigger diameter wheels that will fit an Argosy? they are currently 6 inch wide by 16.5 inch diameter, something we can get euro tires for? A nice set of chrome rims would be good.

we have found some nice alloys to fit our van, they turned out to be 16 inch wheels in the end and so there's no panic on changing the tyres. Got them from CWI in California although they haven't arrived yet so we can't say if they are up to scratch. We have had a delivery from JEGS already, it was dreadfully slow, took 3 whole days to get to the UK!!!! (We thought Concorde had finished flying) Not a small parcel either, a set of headers, balance pipes and new ignition wires. Amazing service!

what you need to figure out first is your chassis manufacture and size. e.g. Dodge and m500 etc. then you can find the bolt pattern. if you have 16.5's there is a good chance you have standard dually hubs and axles. your possibilities are pretty good for finding new whees and any size and style. I have a 75 class C on a Dodge B350 cab and chassis. I had the 16.5's and picked up a set of 16's from a newer dually and they fit fine. if you really want to make a state ment they make adapters to covert your 8 lugs over to the 10 lug pattern so you can run 22.5 or 24.5 Big Rig wheels. A set of polished alcoa's and some tires would look cool on a classic rig. just my 2 cents.

Hope the helps.

Freebie, I won't even go there. My wife would kill me and hang me out to dry!!!

What I have thought of doing is to do what I did with the pick-up, I have wagon wheels on it and they look pretty sharp!!
My problem  is finding the hub covers for the front and back for P-30 19.5 wheels. Also I need the nut covers, 30 of them!!
If anyone has a outlet for those wheel hubs or the nut covers give me a note.  What I want to do is sand blast the wheels and paint them white. That way they will look like wagon wheels with the stanless steel covers and hubs. I hate those wheel covers that are on mine but I don't think the axle hubs would look all that pretty with the white wheels. Well, Thats the plan and i will keep my hide intact!!
