Hi there, Well I have been busy wheeling and dealing. and I think I got a good deal here! A friend who has an Isuzu is going fulltime and he was like me going to use the truck towed all wheels down. Now that we both found out that we can't he went looking for another toad and found a 1999 tracker two wheel drive and a 5 speed. So I made him a deal for my hitch and brake buddy and the light package and I got a flat bed trailer! long enough to haul my truck and I am going to have a storage shed on the front of it to hold the grill, Propane tank and chairs and tables too! Not bad. The trailer will need to be finished and My storage shed mounted before I will use it but that will be this years project along with finishing the rv and finishing the repairs on the truck. Gee, This year will be fun!!!! I have a place that has a awning and swamp coolers to help keep us cool in the summer months and I can work on the trailer and truck there as I get the parts and I can work under my awniong on the rv while working on it too!! So, Now I got three projects to work on now!! I think this trailer will work out better as I can change to different vehicles and don't have to go with finding the info on if it is towable. and all that stuff to hook up and unhook when we stop...Sounds like too much work to me. Heck this thing will have a hitch jack to crank it up to where I can hook on the motorhome. I kinda like this as I have a rubbermaid tool shed or whatever it was made for but it will hold all our rods and tackle and tables and chairs and thats like good for me!! Now I can stay here another year and finish the rv and truck and the trailer and leave here next year and enjoy the unit as a whole!! I have a picture of our tool shed and the trailer is in the weeds right now and he just put all the metal he was going to use on it on top and left it there. I got it for $150.

Now you're talkin.  The only problem will be parking the trailer when not towing.  Having a storage shed will make a lot of difference.

Yep, It may be a problem but with a pull through site or If I put the trailer beside the rv or in some parks I have seen a place to put trailers or tow dollys. Should work out somehow. That may be a problem for later to figure out but there making most pull thru's to handle 40 footers with a toad. Can't be that long, 26 foot Mh, a 16foot trailer and say what 3 foot for the tongue, thats 45 total feet from front bumper to the lights on the trailer.  A 40 footer with toad will be longer than that and if its a 45 footer... I think I have that covered, or hope so???

Well, I got the call to come on down Monday morning to get the awning fixed so here we go again. If this works I can get back to working on the home in the Kitchen! I still have a couple of things to finish on the toad and I haven't started on the trailer yet. I hope they get this thing done so I can get what i need to finish done.

I thought maybe someone at first was burning trash but I called the 911 and told them about it and they showed up in force and I still see flashlights and hear dogs going nuts out there!! Have a feeling its going to be a long night. Tomorrow should be a interesting day!! I may actually find out what is going on,Dan

Had one of those accross the highway from us a few years ago.  Didn't even know it was there till the Sheriff raided it.  Out here in the country they could steal the amonia from the farmers tanks in the fields.

Well, I will keep this short. I am sore all over. I woeked all day on the trailer. I cut all the pieces for the ramps and I used a plasma cutter to make the holes for the storage area for the ramps. I made The frame pieces and got ecerything in the jigs so i can weld it all together tomorrow.  If I can... I can't remember how long it has been since I have hurt this much!!!
