We've developed a crack in the spare tire cover on the 345.  It is right where the rubber hold-down connects to it.  I thought of trying to fiberglass it.  Any ideas.  Also, if it gets worse, can these be purchased anywhere?  New or used would be okay.  Ron

If it was me I would put a fibre glass patch on the back side of it.  Good luck finding a replacement.

We are all going to have this problem someday.

Would repair...glass, plastic weld, cover with a fake travel trunk?

Por products make an awesome 2 part epoxy putty. I have used it sever times to repair all sorts of things. Might want to consider that?

I took a fibreglass moulding for the cover, when I recently applied a new decal to my old cover.
As yet it is still on the shelf but, if wanted, we could make up a cover, but it will be in clear coat, so will need painting. Shipping to the USA may be a bit pricey due to the size and strength needed. I will work out a price shortly and explore a "aluminium silver" finish
