Subject: How to get setting to 'stick'

I prefer to read the forums 'newest first'. When I switch it to that setting it seems to 'take' for awhile. When I return to the computer after a few hours it is back to 'oldest first'. What am I doing wrong?

Guy, Are you setting this a a preference in your profile? My Profile \| Edit Profile \| Prerences \| Sort Posts ? That setting in your profile should save it for your account for good. Let me know if you have trouble with it.

I don't see a tab labeled "My Profile". Nor do I see a link with that name?

When you're logged into the site and viewing the forum there should be a link on top right site of the top orange bar (above the drop down for Oldest First \| Newset First) labled My Profile. Clicking that link will bring you to a screen where you can manage all of your info, avatar, signature, settings, etc. When you are on that page, click on the Edit Profile Link. Then under the Preferences section you can select your Sort Post preference. Then update your profile and it will "stick" with your account. Pretty cool - eh?

Newest first would be good for photos too

Right now the homepage shows "random" photos. I can change it to "Latest Added". I'd suggest you enter this one in the feedback center and let's see what kind of votes we get on it.
